Marinette Arzounian

I like the way my career evolved over time. It’s a bit like one of my son’s legos, where each part I built has led to something new, which could not have existed without the previous ones.

 

My first role in auditing at Deloitte taught me how to look at different companies and manage to find the strengths and weaknesses in many aspects of their organizations. I applied my skill set to the various departments of one single firm when I joined Goldman Sachs, diving deep into the universe of finance and learning all of its specificities and challenges. I was thereafter able to successfully help build new asset management businesses and platforms. When I moved to the world of funds of hedge funds to lead operational due diligence activities, in addition to looking at organizations, I started looking at people. Actually, within the hedge fund industry, I realized that people are much more important than organizations.

 

In 2012, I joined Ricks Consulting Group, to look for investment professionals talent in Europe, hence capitalizing on the knowledge I had acquired about hedge funds for 10 year. Today, my focus is all about people: my clients, my candidates, my partners, my network.

 

I have been working within the banking, asset managment, hedge fund community for the past 20 years and have gained the trust of my counterparts by my ability to listen to them, understand them and always try to advise them at best, in absolute confidentiality and outside any conflict of interest.

Carole Jean-Baptiste

I have 20 years of experience in the buy side Executive Search industry mainly in France, the UK, Luxembourg and the US. I have always had a taste for international scope and love to think out of the box. What I like most about my job as a head hunter is to work on “people material” to look for the best Talents for my clients but also identify the best companies for Talents. I see myself as a Talent agent, and nothing makes me happier than finding scarce human resources for exceptional companies. I tend to believe that my role is all about movement towards the right people at the right time, creating opportunities and encounters.  There is not one vision of the world but a constant adaptation to the market, the mindset, the culture and the values of people.

I have a thorough approach and a constant attention to details. I provide competitive intelligence management scans, management and cultural assessments, benchmarking and succession planning, market sentiment analysis, and compensation analytics and advisory.  I like to work as a strategic advisor, providing key insight on all issues relating to executive assessment, on-boarding, inclusion and diversity management. I have handled complex assignments from C-suite to expert.

 

I worked as a Partner at both Dune and Catskill Executive Search and Page Executive. My prior experience also includes, Fimat-Tullett (New York /Paris), where I was an FX Options Sales as well as a at KPMG (Geneva) where I was a Senior Consultant. I earned a Masters’ degree in Economics and Finance from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Grenoble and I am a Certified Executive Coach from HEC Paris.
